Bullets

Each of the major trade magazines has charts that switch records numerically based on sales, downloads, airplay or streams.

A bullet is a dot or a star next to a record’s number on the chart, and it reckons the record is moving up powerfully. The lack of one means it’s weakening or on its way down. So “Number 1 with a bullet” is the best you can do. :]
